Annual Tank Crash π SPS STN + Rescape results!!
It always occurs around the same timeβFebruary to April of each year usually yields a big disaster (or two) in my systemsβwhich seems to coincide with a lot of hobbyists’ experiences as well. Some claim it’s the season, some point to the pollen, and others attribute it to the chloramine being added to the source water. I have my own suspicion but have no proof, so I carry on the way I know howβwith a few nice, large water changes, a good clean-up, and letting the system do its own thing to re-balance.
