Dead corals. Mistake I made during 5 days blackout.
2021 is off to a rocky start. In the continued effort to combat dinoflagellate, I committed the tank to a 5 days blackout. All was fine until things started dying off and releasing the previously locked up nutrient back into the system, causing a massive nutrient spike (my fault for not monitoring). As a result, a few corals suffered. Things were not all bad though and there were some silver linings, but… people love dramatically tragic titles, so here we are.
