Updated my aquascape so the rock structure looks taller and more uniformed. Added the intrusive Blue Clove to the tank… I may regret this decision later. Sadly lost my first coral, the Acan. source

In an effort to combat excess algae growth, I pretty much ripped up the sump and redid a lot of things including bigger return pumps, GFO, filter sock, dosing kalk… etc. source

Should have seen this coming when the Rose Bubble Tip Anemone started moving around out of the blue. It splitted overnight and the tank now has three bubble tip anemones! source
Met up with my reefer buddies and checked out a few LFS around VA since we can’t make it to MAMAX 2016. Finally got a chance to check out Incredible Corals & Artfully Acrylic in Manassas, VA! Check out the sweet dropoff tank that they designed. source

The equalibrium was broken – algae started appearing on the sandbed again. One of the Yasha Goby has been missing for about a week. Corals are getting too big, may need to do some serious rescaping or I need to start selling things. source
